Dear PreK and K families,

The Lantern Walk, a night time festival, is celebrated with song and beautiful lanterns. The children will be making lanterns with their teachers and then walking and singing through the darkness of forest and field around our school.

On Wednesday we will gather on the terrace to begin our walk, singing and carrying our lanterns. Please hold the mood with your child by walking quietly and singing along with us.

You will need to arrive at school with your child or pick them up from extended care by 5:45 pm. Please make sure they use the restroom and are dressed warmly before bringing them to their classroom by 6:00 pm.

Teachers will gather the children in their classrooms and light their lanterns. They will join you and you and be in your care for the rest of the event.

Please RSVP to your child's teacher if you will be attending this event and let us know if your child will stay in extended care until 5:45 pm.
