All are welcome to the Detroit Waldorf School’s Juneteenth Celebration via Zoom on Saturday, June 19th at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. Come celebrate this day of freedom and jubilation for our entire Waldorf community.

Special guest and alumni parent, Ms. Sydney Duncan, will share her experience growing up in Texas and how Juneteenth originated and celebrated in her family and town. There will also be short readings by students and music from Ms. Shurney.
