Third Grade Class Teacher
Lee LaChance began her endeavors at DWS in 2021 as an intern while completing her degree as a Waldorf grades educator. Lee greatly enjoyed her training at Antioch University in New Hampshire. She has a Bachelors of science in Kinesiology, (the study of the movement) from the University of Michigan and continued on to study pediatric orthotics at Northwestern University in Chicago. She currently works as an Pediatric Orthotist making assistive bracing for ambulation (walking) specializing with children who have a Dx of Cerebral palsy and Spina bifida. She enjoys being an active member of Michigan adaptive sports, leading kayaking and downhill skiing experiences for children with physical challenges. She resides in Detroit with her husband, Craig, son, Oliver and three sweet, playful rescue dogs Otis, Dylan and Chewy.
