Michelene Eberhard our Parent-Child Program teacher/facilitator. A native Detroiter, Michelene has also lived in Seattle and Los Angeles. She is certified in Waldorf Early Childhood Education, holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan (Philosophy), a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University (Law), and is now an attorney emerita and a veteran teacher. Over the years, Michelene has gathered deep and extensive experience working for and with children. She has worked in juvenile justice and child protection, and has taught PreK, Nursery, Parent-Child, Kindergarten, facilitated Parenting classes, tutored in Detroit Public Schools, and taught PreK Sunday school for many years. She enjoys reading, handwork and friend & family gatherings. She has one child and two grandchildren, and lives with husband Michael and hilarious dog Ruby.
