ECC Assistant Teacher
Bahar is thrilled to start her first year at Detroit Waldorf School. Born and raised in Iran, Bahar earned her BA in Theater at the College of Dramatic Arts and Music from the University of Tehran. There, she connected with young children while experimenting with various art forms, which led her to discover her passion for being an educator.
She moved to Detroit in late 2019 and quickly connected with families and children in her community. This connection led her to start working in education with the love and support of her beloved Detroit community.
Outside of her work at school, Bahar likes to spend her time traveling, swimming, and making art. She loves film photography, making collages, movies, shadow puppets, animals and all the great music Detroit has to offer.
