Detroit Waldorf School’s Walk and Roll will take place on Friday, October 25th on Belle Isle! For 40 years, DWS students, teachers, families, and friends have gathered each Fall to walk and bike (8th grade) in support of the Detroit Waldorf School Annual Walk-a-thon. As we strive to be a more accessible community, we are thrilled to announce our fundraiser's new name the Walk & Roll. This year, whether you are walking, rolling, or simply cheering from the sidelines, you are invited to join us in moving in support of our school.

Walk & Roll is our largest student-led fundraiser and an exciting way to get students engaged in fundraising. Each student is asked to raise $250 to help reach our school’s collective goal of $60,000.

As a 501c3 non-profit (EIN: 38-1790921), we rely heavily on community support to fulfill our mission. Donations to the Walk & Roll are tax deductible and essential in providing DWS with the financial flexibility to meet our areas of greatest need such as teacher development, maintaining our beautiful campus, and providing quality educational experiences for all.
